‘Uncle Ho’s Soldiers’ writing contest winners awarded

Awards were given away to the winners of a writing contest on “Uncle Ho’s Soldiers” in Ho Chi Minh City on May 7 by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.

The A Prize went to Do Ngoc Quynh Nhu, a student of Sai Gon University, for a story titled “Visiting the ancient citadel in the evening.”

The team prize went to the Union’s Binh Thanh District (HCMC) unit.

The contest, launched last December, received more than 4,000 entries.

It was aimed at educating youths and instilling political knowledge in them.
