Hanoi will be celebrating Vietnam Book Day in Ly Thai Tho Square in Hanoi on April 19.

The event features a book fair on Ngo Quyen Street and Dinh Le Street. There will be seminars from writers and poets along with awards, exhibitions, and a book donation for impoverished children in the countryside on April 20.
The Ministry of Education and Training has organized a Reading Day for schools nationwide. The Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism will host book displays at local libraries in cities and provinces nationwide.
The Youth’s Cultural House in Ho Chi Minh City will also host events marking Vietnam Book Day from April 19-23. The highlight is a seminar about reading habits on April 20.
There will be a discussion on reading in the digital age with participation of experts, celebrities, and youth and an exchange between war veterans and youth on the occasion of the release of the book “Memoirs of Sai Gon-Cho Lon-Gia Dinh Resistance Base 1945-1975” will be organized by the HCM City General Publishing House on April 20.
There will be more book exhibitions, seminars and exchanges held by FPT University, First New and Tiki publishers on April 19-23.
