Vietnam to host ‘Ukraine Cultural Days’

Vietnam will host ‘Ukraine Cultural Days’ in Hanoi, Haiphong and Ho Chi Minh City to mark the Great October Revolution, kick starting with the opening ceremony at the Municipal Theatre in HCMC on November 9.

According to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the event will be part of the cultural exchange cooperation program between Vietnam and Ukraine, which came into effect in 2010.

Visitors will enjoy songs and dances performed by the Symphony Orchestra of the National Academy of Ukraine, G. Veryovka National Academic Folk Choir and many other famous Ukrainian artists.

A photography exhibition on the people and landscape of Ukraine will also be organized on this occasion.

A musical performance at the HCM City Opera House tomorrow will introduce the program ‘Ukraine Cultural Days in Viet Nam’.

On Sunday, folk dances and music will be held Ha Long city with the participation of the Ukraine National Orchestra and G. Veryovka Orchestra.

A repeat performance will be given in Ha Noi Opera House next Tuesday.
