“Cha va con va…”, based on a true story, is about young people who moved to Ho Chi Minh City from the countryside.

This is the first time Vietnam has a film listed at a reputable international film festival’s main sections.

Previously, Vietnamese-born French director Tran Anh Hung and Vietnamese-American Tony Bui had their works nominated at the competitions of Cannes , Venice , and Berlin festivals.
