Vietnamese photographer wins FIAP gold medal

Vietnamese photographer Nguyen Quoc Huy won a gold medal at the 9th ‘Bucovina Mileniul 2012’ international photographic contest in Romania from the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP).

Vietnamese photographer Nguyen Quoc Huy won a gold medal for his work titled ‘Qua đồi thơ’ (Crossing the poetic hill)

The international photographic contest was organized by the Bucovina Museum and Bucovina Cultural Center in Romania and financed by FIAP and the Art Photographers Association of Romania (AAFR).

The contest comprised of two themes, ‘Freedom’ and ‘Water’. The organizers received a total of 3,607 works from 448 photographers from 32 countries and territories.

In the ‘Freedom’ theme, Nguyen Quoc Huy from the central province of Binh Thuan won the gold medal for his work ‘Qua đồi thơ’ (Crossing the poetic hill).

Two Rumanian photographers got the silver and bronze medals in the same category.
