Vietnamese students to compete at int’l photo contest

Three winners of a photo contest for high school students will represent Vietnam attending the 3rd International High School Students Photo Festival Exchange in Japan.
Winning students, Phan Canh Minh Phuoc of Hue National High School for Gifted Students in Thua Thien-Hue Province, Hoang Nhat Uyen and Tran Thanh Tam of Nguyen Thi Minh Khai High School in HCM City were selected from hundreds of contestants of the photo contest for high school that was launched throughout the country 3 months ago. The competition themed “The Prides of My Town” was opened for students aged 15-18 years who have had interest in photography and the ability in English speaking and writing skills.
The Vietnamese delegation led by photographers Nguyen Van Son (Na Son) and Ba Han will travel to Higashikawa, a city located in the center of Hokkaido to compete at the contest which will take place from July 27-August 3.
