Vietnam-Laos revolutionary historical site kicked off

National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung and Lao National Assembly President Pany Yathotou attended the ground-breaking ceremony of Vietnam-Laos revolutionary historical site in Lao Kho Village in Phieng Khoai Commune of Yen Chau District in the northern province of Son La on April 24.

Lao Kho village, recognized as a national historical site, witnessed revolutionary activities of the late Lao Party General Secretary Kaysone Phomvihane and the Northern Lao Voluntary Team during 1948-1950.

Cambodian President of People's Council cum President of the Cambodian People's Party, Chay Saret led a delegation of officials from Pursat and Kampong Thom Provinces to Tien Giang Province.

The two sides signed a memorandum of understanding on economic cooperation in various fields such as rice production, aqua-breeding, producing and trading feed for cattle and poultry, processing of aqua and agro products, tourism and industry.
