Vietnam’s rare jewelry collection displayed

A jewelry exhibition was held in Hue's Royal Antiquities Museum by the national History Museum, Hue's Imperial Citadel and Antiquities Museum this morning on the occasion of 40th anniversary of the South Liberation Day and traditional craft profession Hue.

The exhibition introduced over 100 items dating back from prehistoric age to Nguyen Dynasty.

These exhibits are various jewelries with unique forms and diversified materials to show Vietnamese artisans’ skills and fine tastes.

Especially, the collection  of Nguyen Dynasty’s jewelry is very rare and it is made of precious metals such as gold, silver, elephant tusks, gem, tortoise-shell

The exhibition will take place until June 27.
