More than VND3.8 billion (US$230,000) was raised from the “Passage of Time” concert organized by Sai Gon Giai Phong at Ben Thanh Theatre in Ho Chi Minh City yesterday and will go to helping ethnic minorities, disadvantaged students and flood victims in the central provinces.

The concert left an unforgettable impression on the audiences. The singers offered music-lovers their favorite songs, such as Inh la oi, Tinh ca Tay Bac (Tay Bac’s Love Song), Ngon lua cao nguyen (The Highland’s Flame) and more.
The organizer handed over badges reading “For community” to twelve enterprises who have made outstanding contributions to community development over the years.

The musical performance was attended by Nguyen Van Dua, Standing Deputy Secretary of the HCM City Party Committee, Standing Deputy Chairman of the HCMC People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Tai and other city leaders, along with enterprises, sponsors and music-lovers.
