VNSO’s Woodwinds Quintet performs in Hanoi

A chamber concert featuring a woodwinds quintet of the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra (VNSO), the “New Wind Ensemble” will take place at the Goethe Institute in Hanoi on April 13.

The band, including flutits Nguyen Thi Dieu Quynh, oboist Hoang Manh Lam, bassoonist Tran Minh Duc, hornplayer Ta Tien Dat and clarinetist Nguyen Minh Hoang will play musical works by Strauß, Mozart, Cambini, Farkas and Ibert.

The concert will also present to audiences lively Viennese dance music from the 19th century as well as cheerful Parisian tones from the 1930s.

The concert is for only visitors from the age of 12 and up. Free tickets are available from April 4 at the Goethe Institute in Hanoi.
