Yen Tu Buddhist Spring Festival opens in Quang Ninh

The annual big spring festival for Buddhists and tourists nationwide which was opened at Trinh pagoda on Yen Tu Mountain in Uong Bi city of Quang Ninh province on the 10th day of the first lunar month which fell on February 6th.

Buddhist monks, pilgrims and tourists flocked to Yen Tu historical site. 

The management board of the historical site said that crowded Buddhist monks, pilgrims and tourists yesterday flocked to the cultural festival.
 
Buddhist monks, pilgrims and tourist come here every year to express their gratitude for the great merits and religious career of King-Buddhist Tran Nhan Tong, raise idea pervades of Truc Lam doctrine and wish peace and development for the country.
 
Yen Tu Spring Festival has taken place from the 10th day of the first lunar month to the 30th day of the third lunar month. It is expected to attract more than two million arrivals.
