Youngest ambassador to sing anthem to children in Da Nang

The youngest ambassador for the SOS Children’s Villages International, Capri Everitt will perform the Vietnam national anthem at the Asia Park in the central coastal city of Da Nang on March 18.

The 11-year-old girl will sing the song with children of Da Nang’s SOS Village and more than 100 students.

The event is part of the “80 Anthems” global program to raise money for children everywhere who have been affected by war, poverty, climate change or other unfortunate circumstances, specifically through SOS Children's Villages International. Capri will sing the national anthem in the native language with local children of each of the 80 countries that she is going to visit.

Vietnam’s Da Nang is the 31st destination of the journey which was started in November, 2015 in Canada.
