The opening ceremony of the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2016-2017 school year was held at Chu Van An High School in District 1 on June 11 with the attendance of the Deputy Director of the HCM City Education and Training Department Nguyen Tien Dat.
Around 69,000 students throughout Ho Chi Minh City are taking part in the 10th grade for the upcoming school year, according to the city Department of Education and Training. Candidates will have to take tests on subjects, including mathematics, literature, and a foreign language on June 11-12.
The city has 123 exam venues with 11,000 teachers to supervise the exam.
