Consul General of Canada William Johnston opened new office of the Canada Education Center Network in the Colonnade building in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City yesterday to help Vietnamese students conveniently find best places to get secondary and higher education in the world.
The center will open on weekdays, wholeheartedly welcoming students who want to learn the information about the Canada’s education system with thousands of books and magazines relating to learning environment in this nation.
The Canada Education Center Network has been in Viet Nam for 9 years and has help thousands of Vietnamese students receive education of schools among the best ones in the world.
In the future, learners can get education even more easily for the Canadian government has made changes to facilitate the visa issuance process, Consul General of Canada William Johnston said at the opening ceremony.
The Canada Education Center Network in conjunction with the Canadian government will host the Canada Education Fair 2006 on October 1 in Ho Chi Minh City, a center official told at the opening ceremony yesterday.
The 9th fair will boast 22 educational institutions from Canada so that students can learn about the education system, school requirements, school costs and accommodations of that country.
The 5th fair for northern students will be held in Ha Noi on October 3.
