Education labor unions take care of teachers in upcoming Tet holidays

The Ho Chi Minh City Labor Union continued to carry out program to take care of poor teachers and laborers in the occasion of Tet holidays (the Lunar New Year).

In order to support low-income teachers especially those in outlying suburbs in the upcoming Tet holidays, the municipal Department of Education and Training sent its document to school labor union chairperson encouraging them to share with their colleagues who are struggling at the bottom of the economic ladder.
The education sub-divisions in districts collected supports from school to send back the sector’s labor union which will give gifts to disadvantaged teaching staffs from now to January 19.
Before, the city’s Labor Union also had plan to take care of poverty-stricken teaching staffs and laborers on the occasion of Tet holiday. As per the plan, labor unions in schools will carry out policies for teachers especially taking heed to wage, bonus
In addition to gifts, those wanting to return their hometown will also receive gratis bus fares.
