40 English language specialists representing provincial Departments of Education and Training will join other instructors from across Viet Nam to attend a workshop held by the British Council at the Palace Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City from April 11- 13.

Workshop attendees will try out new materials to be used during the upcoming summer semester and develop lesson plans for high school English teachers in their respective provinces.
Working in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Training and English language experts from aross the country, the British Council is helping to make improvements to the teaching methodologies used in high school English classes.
The workshop will focus on new approaches and techniques, encouraging a more communicative approach to language learning within the cultural context of Viet Nam.
