First Japanese private medical university to set up in Hung Yen Province

Deputy Chairman of Hung Yen Province People’s Committee Nguyen Van Phong officially offered the decision of the Prime Minister to Ms. KusumiMari, Chairwoman of the board of governors cum principal of the university.

The university investment worth US$20 million locates in Ecopark Urban in Hung Yen Province’s Van Giang District. It was built early in 2015 and the construction is scheduled to finish in March, 2016. It plans to train 1,200 students per year.

Students can enroll in June, 2016 and new academic year starts in September, 2016. The medical university is the first private Japanese university in Vietnam to train students in four years and three years majoring in nurses, physiotherapy, testing, and image technicians.

Dr. KusumiMari said at the meeting that she and her partners set up the university to provide training to medical workers with high skills and compassionate who are willing to work anywhere in the world to take care of people health.
