Five bookcases given to schools in Hau Giang Province

To aid schools in disadvantaged districts, the Department of Information and Communications in the Mekong delta province of Hau Giang and Sai Gon Giai Phong Newspaper yesterday gave bookcases to Primary School Luong Nghia No.3 in Long My District.

The primary has 362 pupils and most of them are Khmer people who live in village No.10.
The school is short of teaching equipment and its library has only a few books.
Accordingly, in addition to books, Sai Gon Giai Phong newspaper gave 200 notebooks as a support to poor students.
The newspaper will also give the school a computer set and printing machine for teaching demand.
As per scheduled, the newspaper will give additional four bookcases to primaries Vinh Vien No.3, Luong Nghia, Junior and Senior High School Luong Tam. Each bookcase is worth VND12 million.
