Da Lat University organized a solemn ceremony to grant the title of Honorary Professor to Yoo Tae Hyun, a former Ambassador of the Republic of Korea (RoK) to Vietnam on November 18.

Mr. Yoo Tae Hyun spent two years in Vietnam as an ambassador of the Republic of Korea in the period of 2003- 2005.
During his term, the ambassador had contributions in strengthening of bilateral cooperation relations between the two countries.
In 2005, he received the Vietnamese President's Friendship Medal.
After finishing his term, Mr. Yoo Tae Hyun voluntarily stayed in Vietnam to teach subjects relating to foreign affairs policies and culture of his country at Da Lat University.
Besides, he also played an important role as an advisor for trade cooperation promotion between Lam Dong province and South Korean partners.
At the ceremony, Mr.Yoo Tae Hyun said that he has chosen Vietnam as his second hometown, and desired to continue to devote for Vietnam’s education development as well as the cooperative relations between the two countries.
