Freshwater provided for primary students

On the occasion of school year’s beginning on September 5, a freshwater supplier was made available to the primary students in the Mekong delta province of Ben Tre.

From now on, primary pupils of Huong My 2 Primary in Mo Cay Nam District can enjoy fresh and clean water.
The VND270 million ($11,879) freshwater supply includes a purifier with capacity of 200 liter an hour and two purifiers at 100 liter an hour placed in the school’s three facilities. In addition, the school’s main facility and the toilet were upgraded with total spending of VND270 million taken from the province’s state budget.
Before, the teachers and pupils had to drink water for daily activities directly pumped from canals around the school’s premises.
