At the ceremony, Director of the Department of Education and Training in Ho Chi Minh City Le Hong Son expressed his pride of honorable tradition of the city’s education. On the occasion, he congratulated more than 100,000 teachers and staffs who have made great contributions to the education in the city in the previous years.
The city will try its best to basically fulfill its set targets of resolution at the 10th Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress to develop the education sector as a center for nationwide and Southeast Asia regional higher education.
On the occasion, five groups and 57 individuals received the Third- Class Labor Medals and the Prime Minister's Certificates.
