Ministry, Unilever to build toilets in 400 primary schools

The Ministry of Education and Training signed an agreement with Unilever Vietnam on Monday to build toilet facilities in 400 primary schools across the country at a cost of VND16 billion (about US$762,000) from 2012-2016.

This move is aimed at raising the awareness of young children to the importance of personal hygiene. Over 1,000 young school children will have access to clean hygienic toilet facilities in their schools.
