The contest organizer received 252 entries from 487 students of 34 schools. According to MoET’s assessment, many contest participants had appropriate scientific researches and careful observation of the rules of a scientific work.
Fifteen students were given the First Prizes while 27 others grabbed the Second Prizes, 43 capturing the Third Prizes and 51 obtaining Fourth Prizes.
Noticeably, Hanoi continued leading with 21 entries including three First Prizes, five Second Prizes, six Third Prizes, and seven Fourth Prize; followed by the northern province of Hai Phong with 12 entries comprising of two First Prizes, two Second Prizes, five Third Prizes and three Fourth Prizes.
With six entries, the northern province of Lao Cai had four First Prizes and one Fourth Prizes.
The Jury said that many of students had good knowledge in their research field and they evidently scouted local and international information of the field.
Plus, students’ public speaking and answering skills were very good. They briefed their scientific work in English in front of the crowd confidently.
Some of remarkable projects include Robot feeds Parkinson patient with image handling technology by student Vu Hoang Long, Shrimp pond bottom cleaning machine by student Ngo Anh Tai.
