New charitable kindergarten inaugurated in Kon Tum province

Canon Marketing Vietnam Co., ltd. along with the distributor Le Bao Minh Group inaugurated a kindergarten in Dak Pek commune, Dak Glei district in the Central Highlands province of Kon Tum on September 17.

The company has built 70 schools so far throughout the country at a total cost of VND6.8 billion (US$293,000), aiming at helping disadvantaged children in remote areas to go to school as well as acting in accordance with Canon's corporate philosophy of Kyosei, "All people, regardless of race, religion, or culture, harmoniously living and working together into the future," said Mr. Satoru Takeda, General Director of Canon Marketing Vietnam.
The school with a well-equipped range of facilities will be a safe place for children to learn and thrive, added Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa, the headmistress of the kindergarten.
On the same day, Mr. Satoru Takeda also gave gifts to 50 students of the kindergarten and gave VND12 million ($517) to a poor family having a child with hydrocephalus in Dak Pek commune.
