Niigata International Volunteer Center offers scholarships to 62 poor students

Niigata International Volunteer Center (NVC) cooperated with the Ho Chi Minh City Student Assistance Center presented 62 full scholarships to poor students with their excellent achievement in study on February 4.

Accordingly, the full scholarship will support all necessary expenses related to education for students. Each scholarship cost 10,000 yen per year.

Niigata International Volunteer Center is a Japanese nonprofit organization, established in 1989 with target of strengthening international cooperations.

Since 1998, the organization has started to implement aid programs to Vietnamese students in universities nationwide.

Over past 17 years, there were 989 Vietnamese students were offered the scholarships. Moreover, Niigata Volunteer Center also created condition for Vietnamese students to study and work in Japan after their graduating from universities.
