Party General Secretary congratulates teachers, schoolers on new school year

In his letter, Secretary General of the Communist Party of Vietnam cum State President Nguyen Phu Trong yesterday praised education sector, parents, and schoolers on the occasion of the new school year.

On behalf of the Party, the State and the Government, Mr. Trong applauded the sector’s effort and accomplishment.
Mr. Nguyen Phu Trong sent his best wishes to all teachers and school managers as well as parents and students countrywide.
He said in the letter that the academic year 2018-2019 marked five-year implementation of the Party’s resolution No.29-NQ/TW on November 4, 2013 on comprehensive renovation of education and training.
The education sector has made an effort to implement solutions simultaneously and achieved good accomplishments.
Additionally, teachers and managers’ skills have been lifted and education quality has been improved. Enhanced supervision helps to address wrongdoing and maintain discipline in schools.
Moreover, Vietnamese students captured medals from international Olympiad winning admiration from friends in the world.
Especially, as he emphasized, the sector should revamp more and implement the Party’s policies and the amended regulation of education approved by the National Assembly in the school year 2019-2020.
He reminded of enhancing education of the country’s history and culture as well as creating a friendly school learning environment for schoolers to complete the school year’s goal and plan for 2016-2020.
He expected that teachers and managers always keep their ethical values and passion for teaching careers to contribute to the sector’s development meanwhile he hoped that students will both keep the country’s tradition of learning to become good citizens who will help in the progress of the country.
