Presentation of 10,000 helmets to students

10,000 good quality helmets were handed out to students in Hanoi at a program organized by the People’s Committee in Hanoi and the Vietnam Grand Prix company yesterday.

The program, entitled “Ultimate technology – Absolute safety” is a part of Vietnam grand Prix’s activities in response to the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA)’s #3500LIVES campaign.
Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung said at the event that the campaign aims to remind motorbike users of wearing helmets whenever they move on roads for their own safety.
He expected the presentation of helmets to students, who will be friendly ambassadors, to send messages to their relatives and those around them to practice traffic safety regulations. The program is expected to bring the number of traffic accidents down.
