SGGP career guidance program launched in suburban district

Sai Gon Giai Phong Newspaper and the Department of Education and Training officially launched a career and college consultancy program for students preparing for university entrance exams on Saturday.

The program launched in Quang Trung High School in suburban district of Cu Chi was attended by experts from well-known universities.

Associate Professor Dr Nguyen Kim Hong from the HCMC University of Education, Associate Professor Dr Dang Van Tinh from the HCMC University of Medicine and Pharmacy and Dr Truong Quang Duoc  from the Vietnam National University of HCMC were some of the honored guests along with many officials from the field of education.

This program will offer expert guidance to students with up to date information about university entrance exams and in particular will offer career counseling to students, who are planning their future careers and searching suitable education and training appropriate to their abilities and interests.

According to the Cu Chi district local government representative and the department of education and training, all the 3000 students from of 12th grade in Quang Trung School have registered for the program.

Those participating in the program will receive helpful guidebooks on how to choose careers and seek jobs, published by the Vietnam National University HCMC.
