SGGP, VNU cooperates to publicize education information

Sai Gon Giai Phong newspaper and Vietnam National University (VNU) in Ho Chi Minh City yesterday signed an agreement to increase information of education-training and science-technology.

As per the agreement, the two sides will publicize policies on education-training and science-technology including spreading and implementing the city’s resolution No.29 on education reform, the Party Committee’s action plan to carry out the resolution, introduction of models and advanced teaching and learning methods, cooperation between Vietnamese institutes and their foreign partners to improve the national education and the university’s growth.
At the signing ceremony, VNU director Professor Huynh Thanh Dat said that the cooperation between the two sides will boost development. Articles will help fortify the image of the university and importantly increase the university’s role and position as the lead in the country’s education and training sector as well as in the world.
SGGP Editor-in-Chief Nguyen Tan Phong said that the cooperation with the university will help reporters to have more education and training news, increase information of the implementation of the city’s resolution No.29 as well as the action plan.
