The official seminar about vocational training will take place on September 20 in Hanoi.
Speaking at the briefing, Deputy Head of the committee Pham Tat Thang said that vocational training has achieved significant accomplishments greatly contributing to the country’s modernization.
However, fast development of industry and technologies in all fields requires the education sector to revamp more. Vocational training quality must be improved to satisfy labor market and employers’ demand.
Director General of the Department of Vocational Training Nguyen Hong Minh said that 70 percent of Vietnamese workers presently receive technical and vocational training; subsequently, Vietnam should improve the education to escape the middle-income trap.
Breakthroughs in the technical and vocational education therefore should be created and the society should pay more attention to the sector.
