Students from HCMC, Phu Yen win first prize in ST National Contest 2014

A closing ceremony of Science and Technology National Contest 2014 for students in southern Vietnam was held at Can Tho City on March 9.

The organizers awarded 99 prizes including two first-place prizes to students Nguyen Huynh Ngoc Khanh from Nguyen Hue High School, Phu Yen Province with her Robot programming automation, Tran Thi Dieu Lien and  Nguyen Nam Du from Le Hong Phong High school in HCMC.

This year’s contest attracted 283 students from 27 southern provinces with 133 projects in the 14 fields of science, engineering, environmental science, biochemistry, mathematics, physics, and astronomy.

The contest was hosted by Ministry of Education and Training.
