Two more districts provide overtime care for workers’ kids

Prior to the plan, districts Thu Duc and Binh Tan have implemented the plan in the school year 2016-2017. The nursery facilities in the two districts will keep kids until 5.30 PM and even in Saturday.
Three preschools kept around 240 kids of workers overtime last year. Payment for teachers who kept overtime was taken from state budget and social contribution.
This year, the city expanded the plan in private schools in these parks till 2020 in six districts including 2, 7, 12, Binh Chanh, Cu Chi and Nha Be. In addition, schools in 24 other districts will admit kids from 6 - 18 month old with top priority for laborers’ toddlers in industrial and processing parks.
City authorities planned to push up the rate of kids in day care centers in five outlying districts and improve teaching quality in preschools as a part of the government’s new rural plan. Furthermore, the education sector will increase supervision to private facilities especially in residents’ houses.
