Vietnamese students bags silver, bronze medals at Asia physics Olympiad

Eight Vietnamese students bagged three silver medals, three bronze, and two certificates of merit at the 17th Asia physics Olympiad 2016 held in Hongkong (China) from May 1 – 9.

The silvers went to 11th grader Nguyen The Quynh, from the senior high school Vo Nguyen Giap in the central province of Quang Binh; 12th grader Dinh Thi Huong Thao from the High School Le Hong Phong in the northern province of Nam Dinh and 12th grader Nguyen Quang Nam from School for Gifted Students in Hanoi.

12th grader Pham Quang Minh of Hanoi-based Amsterdam School ; 12th graders Pham Ngoc Nam and Nguyen Van Quan of High School Le Hong Phong in Nam Dinh Province captured the bronze medals at the Olympiad.

Two other 12th graders Ha Anh Duc from High School for Gifted Student in Hanoi and Do Thuy Trang of  High School Le Hong Phong in Nam Dinh received certificates of merit from the organizers.
