Vo Truong Toan Prize launched for first time in Danang

The Vo Truong Toan Prize honoring outstanding teachers in the field of education has just been launched for the first time in the central coastal city of Da Nang from September 26.

Nominees are teachers from kindergartens, primary schools, secondary and high schools, vocational schools and colleges will be nominated for the 1st Vo Truong Toan Prize 2016 in Danang.

20 award-winning teachers who have innovative teaching methods, besides having gained the trust and respect of colleagues, students and parents will be awarded on the occasion of Vietnam Teacher's Day (November 20).

The event is co-organized by Da Nang’s Department of Education and Training, the Sai Gon Giai Phong Newspaper and Prudential Vietnam Company.

The 19th Vo Truong Toan Award has been also kicked off  in Ho Chi Minh City by the municipal Department of Education and Training and Sai Gon Giai Phong Newspaper.

Started from 1998, the annual prize honored 586 teachers over the past 18 years in HCMC.
