Soon the baby was transferred to the Children Hospital No.1 for further treatment.

Dr. Pham Thi Thanh Tam, head of the Intensive Care ward of the hospital, said that it is likely that the baby will die without operation to cut the narrow pulse.

Medical workers were run off their feet to carry out the operation soon. After one hour, surgeons got success.

At present, the baby is no longer put on ventilator. Her condition is stable though she was fed through a tube.
