HCMC Children's Hospital opens center of inpatient treatment

The Ho Chi Minh City Children's Hospital was officially put into operation of the center specializing in treatment for inpatients on August 1, said the Ho Chi Minh City Health Department.

The center included divisions of positive rehabilitation programs, newborn resuscitation, respiratory, gastroenterology, general internal medicine and infectious diseases. 

The hospital's center of outpatient treatment attracted more than 1,000 patients every day during the first six months of the year after it had officially been put into the operation. 

Amid to the current peak of the dengue fever period, the HCMC Health Department required the Ho Chi Minh City Children's Hospital to give 50 sick-beds for patients of infectious diseases division.
