HCMC to set up seven disease control centers

Ho Chi Minh City plans to convert seven medical clinics into disease control centers, said director of the municipal Department of Health Nguyen Tan Binh at a conference on August 16.
These centers are expected to finish before 2021. Abundant medical workers of the centers will be assigned to work in other infirmaries.
The centers will act as counselors and organize activities to prevent epidemic, contagious diseases, non-communicable diseases and keep track on community’s health.
