The Ministry of Health yesterday sent an urgent dispatch to the Ministry of Transport and chairpersons of people’s committees in cities and provinces asking to actively prevent mouse plague.

The Ministry of Health yesterday sent an urgent dispatch to the Ministry of Transport and chairpersons of people’s committees in cities and provinces asking to actively prevent mouse plague.

The depatch asked the Ministry of Transport to order related agencies to issue guideline to vehicle importers to monitor imported vehicles from plague-struck nations. Importers have to fill a form at international quarantine units in border gates.

The dispatch clear states that chairpersons of  municipal and provincial people’s committee have to work with the departments, international quarantine stations and centers of preventive medicine over vehicles.

These related agencies have to actively supervise rodents and regularly monitor plague-prone and crowded areas, the dispatch said.
