Man bitten by tiger at ecotourism site in stable condition

Physicians of Cho Ray Hospital yesterday announced the man whose arms had been bitten off by tiger at Thanh Canh ecotourism site was in stable condition.

The 49-year-old man from the Mekong delta province of An Giang was taken to the infirmary for emergency treatment when he lost his entire right arm and his left arm from the elbow to the hand was also bitten off by tiger in Thanh Canh ecotourism site in the southern province of Binh Duong.
Immediately, surgeons were quick to perform an operation to cut the seriously injured parts and other treatment. Presently the man was in intensive care unit.
Before, while watching tiger in the ecotourism site, the man unintentionally put his right hand in the cage and the animal bit the hand. In his blind panic, he raises his left hand toward the animal and it bit two hands.
The provincial forest protection department and relevant agencies arrived at the site to carry out a probe.
