The construction work of the second facility of Blood Transfusion Hematology Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City started yesterday.

The VND1,000 ($43 million) hospital with a basement, five floors is located in the area of 33,000 square meter in Binh Chanh district. It has 300 beds for inpatients and 500 other beds.
It is scheduled to complete in October 2020.
City authorities have determined in developing more high-quality medical facilities in blood transfusion and hematology especially in genetics and molecular biology, immune system, morbid anatomy and blood transfusion.
Additionally, the hospital will carry out scientific researches and training to provide personnel for the city’s health sector.
