Inspectors from the drug administration May 18 and 19 when paying its scheduled visits to the pharmaceutical company’s factory and stock warehouse discovered Donaipharm’s wrongdoing.

The pharmaceutical company has repacked and stuck new date labels on expired two medications, Salbutamol 2mg and Bisinthvon 8mg for treatment of respiratory problems and launched to market. This is an illegal act; inspectors hence ordered the company to withdraw the drugs from circulation.

On the day, the company obeyed instantly the request, removing all packages of expired drugs from the shelves of pharmacies.

Dong Nai police and the province’s Department of Health (DOH) conducted supervision of packaging and labeling of two drugs. DAV’s deputy head Nguyen Viet Hung said on September 12 that his administration is waiting for the conclusion of DOH in the southern province of Dong Nai, DAV will impose strict fine on the pharmaceutical company.
