Vietnam imports 100,000 chickenpox vaccinations

Vietnam will be importing 100,000 vaccinations for chickenpox prevention due to a national shortage.

The Health Authority is allowing 77,800 doses to be imported without registration, said Nguyen Tat Dat, deputy chief of the Drug Administration of Vietnam.

There has been a panic to get vaccinations due to an outbreak, according to the administration.
