During surgical procedure on a 20-year-old young man in the northern province of Phu Tho, surgeons found a large tapioca bead residues in his intestine causing blockage in stomach and intestine.

Deputy Head of the Surgery Department of the hospital in Phu Tho Province Dr. Tran Thanh Tung said that the young man suffered belly pains and had been constipated for two weeks when he was rushed to the infirmary.
According to his relatives, he has unhealthy eating as he regularly skips his meal and drink bubble tea instead.
He was taken to the local hospital where transferred to the province’s General Hospital. After scan result has shown that he suffered intestinal blockage; accordingly, surgeons were quick to perform an operation on him to remove two large food residue.
Dr. Tung advised people to have healthy eating including having boiled water and food limiting fast food and bubble milk tea.
