Singaporean retail giant showcases Vietnamese products

It offers over 300 Vietnamese products including vegetables and fruits, frozen seafood, and other foods.

Tan Kian Chew, NTUC’s CEO, said the group is organizing the fair to acquaint Singaporean consumers with Vietnamese products since their quality is good and prices are competitive.

Vietnamese varieties account for more than 20 percent of the rice sold by the group.

HCMC has designated Singapore as one of the key markets in the Asian region and would foster cooperation between Vietnamese and Singaporean businesses, Nguyen Thi Hong, deputy chairwoman of the city People’s Committee, said.
