Australian food companies seek investment opportunities in HCMC

A delegation of Australian businesses led by the New South Wales Chamber of Commerce and Industry yesterday conducted a survey to seek investment opportunities in HCMC.

The delegation comprising 12 companies from canned food, processed food, beef, formula milk and alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages also had a talk to local firms.
 
Statistics show that Vietnam-Australia trade turnover approximates US$7 billion now.

Vietnam’s major import items from Australia are normal metals, wheat, milk and milk products, coal, cotton, steel and iron scrap, machines, equipment and components.

The country’s export item includes garment and textile products, seafood, cashew nuts, wood and wooden products.
