Brazilian warship docks in HCM City

The Brazilian Navy ship Garcia d’Avila with 283 officers and crew onboard, is paying a courtesy visit to Ho Chi Minh City from May 1 to 5.
       
The visit is to mark the 20th anniversary of the Vietnamese and Brazilian diplomatic relationship. 
      
Officers from the ships are scheduled to call upon the heads of the city’s People’s Committee, the High Command of the 7th Military Zone and the Naval High Command’s representative in Ho Chi Minh City. 
      
They will also take part in a number of cultural and sporting events and go on a sightseeing tour of the city.
