Specifically local and foreign firms who want to apply for business registration certificates or make some changes can call 08 1080 to make an appointment with the Business Registration Division under the department.

They can choose a certain day before the time they come to do procedures, present identity cards or a proxy and put up their requests to the division’s personnel, who will assist to prepare and print documents free of charge.

Businesses then sign and hand in the documents on the premises. Each set of documents will be completed within 15 minutes.

With conditional business sectors which cannot be done on the premises or require a meeting, department’s officials must provide instructions specifying types of papers need to be submitted.

The division must complete documents they receive within three working days. Customers can ask them to return through the post office.

If businesses find any official or civil servant causing difficulties for them, they can directly contact Ms. Truong Minh Kieu or Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Lien who are office chief and vice office chief of the Department of Planning and Investment.
