Charity run collects nearly VND500mil

Junior Chamber International (JCI), a part of Young Business Association in Ho Chi Minh City has raised VND500 million (US$22,000) for charity from a charity run.

Junior Chamber International (JCI), a part of Young Business Association in Ho Chi Minh City has raised VND500 million (US$22,000) for charity from a charity run.

JCI and related agencies December 27 organized a charity fund-raising run named “Run for future” 2015 in Phu My Hung Crescent in HCMC’s District 7. The annual run is organized by JCI to raise fund for community projects in Vietnam.

This year, the run aims to raise fund for a project titled “Build Your Future” with message of raising awareness of future orientation.

The project will help improve senior high school students’ awareness of future careers and to connect enterprises with students as well as provide special knowledge to students which will help students themselves understand more about their own ability to get along well with future jobs.

The event attracted nearly 4,000 participants.
