Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Chairman Le Hoang Quan met more than 200 voters in District 11 on November 9 ahead of a People’s Council session to be held in December.
Many complained about the increase in water tariffs.
A resident of Ward 5 said the district should set up waste dumps far away from schools and crowded residential spots.
Some complained about the power company’s failure to replace many power poles that had burned in Ward 11.
Mr. Quan ordered the district People’s Committee to resolve residents’ problems and report to the city People’s Committee at the earliest.
