Deputy Standing Party Secretary of Ho Chi Minh City Vo Van Thuong led leaders of Party Committee, People’s Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee visited and congratulated Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper on June 18, marking the 89th Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.
On behalf of city leaders, Vo Van Thuong sent greetings and congratulations to the Editorial Board, staffs, editors and journalists of Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper with their contributions in the last year.
Thuong recognized and appreciated highly efforts of the newspapers in completing excellently its propaganda mission in the previous years.
He hoped that editorial board will always try to complete the mission as well as have new solutions to innovate and improve the quality of the newspaper on form and content aims to attract more readers.
On behalf of staffs, reporters, Editor in chief of SGGP Newspapers Nguyen Tan Phong expressed his thanks for paying the attention, direction of Party Committee to the newspaper’s development. Phong said that SGGP newspaper will continue to increase the qualify of information to serve the official organ of the HCMC Party Committee.
On the same day, Deputy Secretary of the HCMC Party Committee Nguyen Thi Thu Ha led city delegation of Party Committee, People's Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Ho Chi Minh City visited and congratulated other press agencies in city.
